چکیده

This project presents the experimental study on self-compacting concrete (SCC) with replacement of cement by various percentage Silica Fume and Fly Ash. The main objective is to determine Flexural strength, Compressive strength Split tensile Self compacting partial use fly ash in today an important subject growing importance day day. Using many provide both economic advantages enhanced properties production concrete. addition super plasticizer increases workability work involves making seven types SCCs mixes. For each mix preparation, twenty-one cube specimens, twenty-one-cylinder specimens beam are cast cured. cured water for 7 days, 14 days 21 days. results show that SCC 5% SF 10% gives higher values Tensile Strength compared other percentages According result, AR Glass Fiber (0.1% 0.4%) added optimum (5% SF+ FA) mixed SCC. After proportion, 28 hardened determined. glass fiber, Strength.

Strain and Damage Sensing Property of Self-compacting Concrete Reinforced with Carbon Fibers

Present paper investigated the strain and damage sensing property on concrete cubes embedded with carbon fibers. Concrete cubes of dimension 150 mm have been casted with different concentration of carbon fibers to study the strain and damage sensing property under cyclic loading that can be further used for health monitoring as non-destructive testing (NDT) approach. All the specimens were test...

Estimation of mechanical and durability properties of self-compacting concrete with fibers using ultrasonic pulse velocity

In this research, the performance of ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) in concrete is examined as a nondestructive experiment in order to estimate mechanical (compressive and tensile strength) and durability (water absorption) properties of fiber-reinforced self-compacted concrete For this purpose 11 mixture designs containing 3 types of fibers (steel: 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4 percent by volume, Pol...

Relation between the Workability and Strength of Self-compacting Concrete

This paper presents the results of an experimental research on the workability and compressive strength of self-compacting concrete. The work focused on concrete mixes having water/binder ratios of 0.35 and 0.45, which contained constant total binder contents of 500 kg/m and 400 kg/m, respectively. The concrete mixes contained four different dosages of a superplasticizer based on carboxylic wit...
